About World Acting Schools

What this is

World Acting Schools lists acting schools, conservatories, drama schools, studios and voice-acting providers, the places where they actually teach, and the specific degrees, diplomas, courses and classes they run. For each offering we record the exact award (or that there is none), the audience and level, schedule, teaching language, audition requirements and fees as the provider publishes them. Each fact carries a source and a date.

Providers, teaching locations and programs are kept separate: a studio can teach in two cities, and prices, schedules, auditions and audiences belong to the individual program, not to the school as a whole.

What it is not

• It is not an accreditor, a talent agency, a casting service or a union, and is not affiliated with any. Listing a school does not imply that it leads to representation, auditions or work.
• It is not a league table. Our researched selections are unnumbered, state their criteria and limitations, and cannot be bought.
• It is not an application or booking service. Applications, auditions and bookings happen on each provider’s own website.
• It does not cover every provider yet. Coverage is tracked by country and, in the United States, by state; gaps are shown as gaps.

Children and teens

Youth classes are listed separately from adult training. We do not create profiles for children, do not collect children’s personal details, and do not offer messaging between minors and providers; enquiries about youth classes go through a parent or guardian. A provider’s safeguarding statement is reported as published, never certified.

How it is funded

Basic factual listings are free. The site is funded by clearly labelled sponsored placements and advertising; see the sponsorship disclosure. Sponsors cannot buy verification, recognition, reviews, editorial recommendations or a place in our selections.
